SCOUTING REPORT
Whitney has been a valuable member of one of the top soccer programs in Section II since her freshman year. As a freshman she was the team's leading scorer (13 goals) and All-League Honorable Mention selection. During her sophomore year she was second on the team in scoring as she helped lead her team to a spot in the NYS Class AA Semi-finals. She has also competed in some of the most competitive summer leagues in the country. She was a valuable member of the Eastern NY ODP team that was a semi-finalist in the 2006 San Diego Surf Cup. Her Super Y team was runner-up in the Mid-Atlantic U-16 and competed in the USL Super Y Nationals in Tampa, Fl in November.According to her coach, "Whitney's our link. She knows where everybody is, and she finds other people. I wish I had two of her. I'd put the other one up front. She is an unbelievable passer and will make an excellent midfielder or front line player at the next level. Whitney has all the tools and skills to compete at the collegiate level and will be an asset to any college program. In the summer of 2007, Whitney was selected to play for the Adirondack Team in the Empire State Games and won a Gold Medal. This past summer, she was again selected to play in the Empire State Games and was elected Captain of the Adirondack Team, which won a Silver Medal in the scholastic Division.
