SCOUTING REPORT

Chauncey Burgazli is a 6'9" post player who has been in my program for four years. His improvement over this time has been incredible.  His most notable improvement has been physically. He has worked very hard in the weight room and has transformed his body into one of a college basketball player. He is very strong and has amazing hip strength and flexibility for a player his size. Confidence has been another area where Chauncey has made great strides. At the end of his sophomore season, he had a string of outstanding games, and you could see his confidence grow. He has been extremely dedicated since then and has become a team leader.

Chauncey's basketball skills are much more than his size. He has great hands and runs the floor well. He has good post moves and uses both hands very well. His athleticism is scary-good for a kid his size. Chauncey is an outstanding passer and has a very soft shooting touch. Defensively, he is a game changer. He has a knack for blocking shots without fouling, and he is a monster on the glass. Some areas we are working on this year are his perimeter defense, post moves turning to his right shoulder, and mental toughness.

I have been coaching varsity basketball for 13 years and have had several players have outstanding college careers. I do not recommend a player unless I know they have the work-ethic and character it takes to be successful at the college level. Chauncey*s best basketball is ahead of him. He has what it takes to be an outstanding college player. Someone is going to be very lucky to get him. Video tape available.
