Ashley is the consummate student-athlete (GPA 97/PSAT 1350) who is 110% committed to her schoolwork and performance on the softball field. Ashley brings many of the qualities needed to be a big time pitcher at the collegiate level. She is quickly evolving into one of the top pitchers throughout CNY and the northeast region. Ashley plays for one of the top travel teams in the northeast: the Renegades Gold. Last summer as a Soph Ashley was one of the teams top pitchers and now works very closely with the team's pitching coach Kim Schweitzer (former DI pitcher at Seton Hall Univ. & former client of NECP).According to one of her travel team coaches; "Ashley is a solid pitcher who continues to improve her game each week. She is a very commanding pitcher who throws an assortment of pitches ( drop-curve, screwball, change-up & fastball) for strikes. Her greatest asset is her ability to change speeds and keep hitters off balance. As she matures and gets stronger Ashley will be a dominating pitcher. Her work ethic is second to none and she is the type of kid every coach loves to have on his/her team. There is no doubt in my mind she will be an asset to any college coaches softball program.
